En langue allemande, sur un mode poétique, l'on pourrait évoquer une "Weltanschauung", en français "vision du monde". En jargon analytique, nous appelerions cela une "ligne narrative".

Appliqué à Qa'idat al-Um (réseaux et organisation), l'on serait tenté de résumer ce phénomène ainsi :

Terrorists at all levels in al-Qaeda, from the leaders of organizations down to the inspired home-grown jihadists tell stories. These stories, or narratives, are used to reinforce their views on global grievances, recruit new members, justify their own actions, and develop new ideas on organization and tactics. Terrorist extremists also use narrative stories to maintain group cohesion, especially among smaller groups or cells that operate in isolation.¹⁾

Les articles rassemblés dans le T-BirD du jour illustrent une ligne narrative que nous ne saurions qualifier de novatrice, l'intérêt que porte aux thèmes sécuritaires la mouvance jihadiste internationale n'étant plus à démontrer.

Il n'empêche.

Les textes qui composent cet opus se lisent donc aussi - sinon avant tout - entre les lignes. Ce qui s'y dessine est troublant. La citation qui suit est extraite de l'opus d'un des clercs "montants" de la scène jihadiste virtuelle. Ansar - c'est son nom - a vu ses textes diffusés sur les sites jihadistes qui comptent.

Dans l'un de ses écrits, il évoque les groupes jihadistes actuels.

D'abord il explique

In the last ten years many Jihadist have been captured by the crusaders and apostate forces. If we look through the files of the intelligence services we find many unnecessary reasons that led to the capture of the brothers. Many brothers who have the right motivation and plans are not focusing enough on security. 

Et puis il estoque

What I noticed in the reports is that the brothers are only thinking about how to achieve martyrdom. There is no doubt that Martyrdom is a great thing to achieve but this is not the main cause. The main cause of Jihad for the sake of Allah is to make the word of Allah supreme on earth. If we look at the Al-Qaeda organization we find many interesting things that shows us the cleverness of the Al-Qaeda leadership. Many brothers who joined the ranks of the Mujahiden were very eager to carry out a martyrdom operation. Many of those brothers were rejected by the “Martyrdom seekers council” to carry out a martyrdom operation.

Il y a moins d'un an, un tel discours aurait été inconcevable. Aucune action ne valait le martyr  et un frère tombé, si brillant fut-il, demeurait éminemment remplaçable.

... Il semble que cela ne soit plus tout à fait exact.
